The duo GlossArte, consisting of Lea Suter, a virtuoso on historical keyboard instruments, and Juan González Martínez, a specialist in historical trombones, would like to change this. Playing on an original trombone from the 1920s, the musicians have put together a program in which concertgoers can look forward to a varied mix of highly virtuosic duets for trombone and organ and challenging solo literature for both instruments.
And if you close your eyes, you can be transported back to an era full of sophisticated ornaments, decorative tendrils, and filigree embellishments—in images and, finally, in sound!
